Taz the Duck says: "Snowflake Village at Burning Man is really
cool!" Expresso the robot agrees. And these two delightful chums should
know! They came to Snowflake Village nine years ago when it first started, and hooked up in Bianca's
Smut Shack.
Expresso
Since then, Taz and Expresso have always camped with Snowflake
Village for its many benefits.
No Village fees or large-scale sound art!
Far better placement in BRC by banding together as an established
Village.
Very flexible internal placement: camps can be on the Esplanade,
or on the Village's internal road, or both, or neither...
Many smaller camps side by side together create a large,
interactive Plaza with many fascinating things for a visitor to see and
do... you could spend all day just in Snowflake.
Friendly, mellow neighbors from the Midwest, Canada, and the
world.

Nine years of Snowflake Village!
Taz and Expresso know how easy it is to request placement for their theme
camps in Snowflake Village 2008. Quick as can be, they
with their best possible guesses about:
- How many people will be in their camp.
- What kind of big structures, and how much frontage space they might need.
- What a visitor will see and experience when entering their camp. Are they
coming into a courtyard, or a purple theme bar?--- will they walk
through a maze, or get painted, or what.
- What times each day they will offer their interactivity... they know the hours of
8pm to midnight are sort of the peak hours and it's good to be lit up and
running especially then.
They know that as their plans change, they can always reply
to their own original post with a newer and more updated camp
description. They can also see what all the other camps are up to, and maybe join
forces on some project. They can even
to see if someone else is already bringing Potato Submarines this year.
