After a one year hiatus, Film Corps is back, bigger and better than ever...EVER! The main crew of 4 (me, Don, Lance, Carlo) will be added to by probably 3 more (Julie, Dan, and Beth). We have three different ideas we're mulling over: The Great and Insulting Oz, whereby a giant Wizard of Oz-like projected head floats above the playa, insulting anyone courageous enough to approach it. Second: a near life-size representation of the colored musical panels from the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," which would be hooked up to a keyboard anyone could play, with the caveat that at random times no matter what keys you hit, the theme from the movie plays. Third: members of our group take turns dressing all in black w/ a bit of flourescent coloring randomly placed on our bodies, standing still against the walls of the pitch black, black-light-lit Clevian Dome, only coming to life when someone enters - then we whisper, move and scare the shit out of 'em! We will most likely be driving an RV from Milwaukee this year to and from BM, so we can carry more stuff, bikes and such. We will have strings of LED christmas lights to contribute. Not sure yet how much exhibit space we'll need. More on this later...
