Part A: Village Overview

This is an on-line discussion forum called Snowflake 2006.  This will be Snowflake's seventh year, making it one of the oldest & most stable Villages on the Playa. Maybe because we keep it simple. A confederation of Midwest, Canadian, and other far-traveling Theme Camps with no village fees, a simple setup; a good location; the advantages of better security and social interactions.
Whatever the size of your camp, from megalopolis down to a teeny kissing-booth, we can set you up with frontage according to the size of your display, and camping space according to your population. In return we ask for your interactivity, including the 24/7 component required of all Esplanade-placed Theme Camps. Start Here, by contacting your intermittently vigilant off-site Coordinator, Eric G, at eric@clevian.com

Part C: Cleanup Plan:

We will clean up our Village the way we always do:

1. We minimize what we bring. Since we have to bring in everything from 2000+ miles away, we already have a powerful incentive for this!

2. We don't let it hit the dirt. Where there is any possibility of a spill, tarps will be used.

3. If it hits the dirt, we clean it up right away, so it doesn't accidentally get ground into the dirt.

4. We don't do major constructions on-Playa; so no construction sites or welding operations.

5. We segregate waste, burn our burnables where appropriate, dry out organic matter so it doesn't rot, and collect greywater for evaporation.

6. Each camp agrees to put in 2 extra hours of cleanup time on their camp space within the Village and surrounding areas.

7. At the very end, the Village Coordinators and the Survey Team walk the whole Village area in criss-cross grids for as long as it takes for a final "de-Mooping."

Part D: Flammables:

Snowflake generally has only fuel for each camp's small generator. Fuel to be kept only in approved containers stored in a secure location. Excess fuel may be securely stored alongside the Emergency Vehicle Access Road, which is always kept open to insure access to fire or EMP vehicles,
