For 2009 we are expecting between 24-30 people in our BurningMbers Camp. Updated and improved, A Shack of Sit will welcome Burners 24x7 to let sit happen anytime in our approximately 1000-sf shelter. We offer daytime shade with chairs and lounges, cool water and maybe some snacks. We will have massage tables and offer daily morning workshops in doing unto others - hands-on of course. We will also offer classes in making prayer flags, providing all the materials. Barista FlossieStarbutts III will again treat Village members to awesome morning coffee. Our space needs will be about the same as for 2008: our shelter will be 30-ft frontage by approximately 35-ft deep. We'll need camp room probably all the way to the back line. We'll gladly share space if there's any room to spare. Eager to see y'all again, Lusting for Dust, Boiseeee Oops, forgot to mention we shall have our construction crew on Playa by Thursday August 27 and be open first thing Monday morning for all the sit you can take. We shall leave without a trace on Monday September 7th. We'll gladly do the initial staking out of the Village, help other camps and keep an eye on your stuff if you need to make several trips to the Playa. We'll also power the Village lights 1-2 nights. We will have oodles of LED lights on the Shack, a large welcoming banner, and several flags - including one large glittery snowflake. No rideshares needed that I know of at this time.
